Zack Snyder is bringing viewers back to the zombie apocalypse. It has been nearly two decades after his directorial debut with Dawn of the Dead. His upcoming movie "Army of the Dead" takes action in Sin City.

About The Movie

This movie is over two hours of zombie action. It is an action movie. The way that Zack Snyder constructs this movie is loud and over the top. Army of the dead is a great concept. We have a zombie outbreak that hits Las Vegas. We have some military man transferring something from area 51. It leaks and spreads all over Vegas. Vegas falls, and we have to quarantine it off from all over the states. It is like what stays in Vega is going to stay in Vegas.

A rich millionaire or a billionaire wants some money that is in one of the casinos in Vegas. He sends a group of people to go and get his money. They have to fight some zombies on the way. There is a lot more to it, but this is the overall very basic plot of the movie. There is a lot of twists and turns.

The way zombies are presented, and loop for the story background is a high concept and has a lot to offer. There is an anime sequel coming based on the army of the dead. This shows that Netflix sees the potential in the army of the dead and Zack Snyder. Netflix is going to use this to their advantage.

Army of the dead is the second movie by Zack Snyder this year, and it is a back-to-back extraordinary film. The filmmaker is having quite the year. Working on movies based on superheroes does not allow him to play as he does here. Army Of The Dead is a pretty aggressive film. He is doing some shock-off stuff and funny things.

The Characters Of Army Of The Dead

Besides the directing and world-building, the characters make this movie great. Assemble of characters like this is so refreshing. Everyone plays together; there are moments where the team breaks off with each other, and then they are all of them together. Everyone likes the structure of the characters.

This is also a super diverse cast, but they are capturing this overall vibe. This team has layers and multiple types of people. Everyone is playing their part here. Everyone loves to see an ensemble team.

Dave Bautista is an amazing lead actor. There are a lot of characters in the movie. Batista stands out as the centerpiece of this film. He has an emotional heart and so much more. Tig Notaro blends in the movie. Director put her in the movie in post-production. This gives big applause to directors, editors, and Tig for that perfection.

There is going to be someone for everyone. You will love the cast of the movie. Matthias Schweighofer is playing the role of a safecracker. There is a moment where he is trying to get to the safe, which was a trap. The way he acts is excellent overall.

The way Zack Snyder reinvents zombies is out of the earth. In general, these zombies are so interesting. There is a whole hierarchy to them. We can see scramblers, who are kind of a typical zombie. We also have alphas; they are smart and tactical. Alphas can quickly move around. They can plan and organize. Alphas are awesome.

There is a king and queen of zombies. Those two characters are also interesting. They are a big part of the movies. We also have a zombie tiger named valentine. Valentine will appear in the movie multiple times.

You will love these zombies here. We are getting a new era of zombies. These are the new defensive zombies of the next generation.

Conclusion

Zack Snyder has made possibly the best American zombie movie. It might be the best zombie movie, but we will know this after the movie's launch. This is 2021, and the movie has everything we need. This provides a pandemic era kind of thing to the viewers. Army Of The Dead is going to be a big deal.
