Currently, she has gained more than 4 million followers on YouTube. She is also popular on her other social networks. After her popularity, Many other VTubers have come up through different streaming platforms.  

What does a VTuber do?

VTubers aren't different from a creator who creates videos on YouTube. They create content similar to YouTubers using a virtual avatar. They perform many online activities, including online gaming, communicating to fans, taking part in online events, and connecting with other VTubers and influencers. Virtual video makers create videos to represent their personas through voiceover. 


VTubers want to build their persona by adopting a particular personality and communication system so they can easily interact with their fans. A male-female can both become a VTuber.   

As a VTuber, one can also generate revenue through their videos. The revenue source can be any from fan donations, promoting brands, selling merchandise, and accepting sponsorship. VTubers take advantage of a wide range of computer programs to create the desired look and style for making videos. The technology used by VTubers is almost similar to Animoji, a feature available on the iPhone allowing you to send messages using emoji of yourself. 

An app called VRoid Studio is popular among VTubers for creating free custom avatars. This software is designed to create avatars based on movements and facial expressions through motion capture technology. 

On the other hand, VTubers uses voiceover technology for creating visual content. They also use many different technologies to produce compelling content for their audience.

VTubers have grown faster in the Japanese online culture. That is why they are now a standalone industry where they create the next VTubers with their production companies.
